Making an appointment

After you have received a referral from your doctor contact our rooms on 07 3812 0888 or through our online enquiry. We will make the next available appointment that suits your schedule. If you have an urgent problem we do keep free some urgent appointment times. Our staff will ask you to fax or drop in your referral for review by Dr McAuliffe and we will then contact you with a suitable appointment time.

When attending your appointment we ask that you bring the following.

  • Referral from your local doctor or specialist
  • X-rays or other images you may have
  • Medicare card
  • Private Health Insurance details
  • Workcover claim number
  • And wear appropriate clothing for an examination of affected areas.

Urgent appointments

We understand that it can be stressful when negotiating the health system and trying to make appointments for painful and worrying conditions particularly when surgery may be required.

Therefore, our aim is to give every patient an appointment as soon as possible. Should you feel that your problem is more urgent than the appointment we have been able to provide never hesitate to contact the office to discuss your issues.

We maintain a limited number of urgent appointments for use when needed and understandably sometimes patients need to reschedule appointments which means that consultation times can become available at short notice. If you have an urgent problem and require an urgent appointment, we will always aim to meet your timeframes and expectations where possible.
